Nationwide Litigation Practice; Admissions to Practice Law at the Trial Court Level
I am a licensed attorney admitted to practice of law in the State of New York, and applicable to all of the state courts in New York. Also, I am admitted to the practice of law in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (including Manhattan, Bronx, Westchester County) and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (including Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau County and Suffolk County).
I have represented clients in various federal and state courts "pro hac vice" (meaning, for a specific case in which I was involved, upon application by a "local counsel" duly admitted to practice law in such state and court), including Pennsylvania, Florida, California, New Jersey, California, Illinois and Maryland. This procedure of being admitted "pro hac vice" enables any lawyer admitted to practice of law in one or more states to be able to represent a client in any state, by retaining "local counsel" and making application to the court for permission to represent the client in the action pending in such court. It is in this way that I have a national practice, in the same way that major law firms having no office in a state are able to appear in cases in such state to represent a client in an action pending in such state.
